Anger: It is a Choice

Most people believe that anger is an emotion that just overcomes them and causes them to behave in ways that they later regret. This workshop helps you understand that anger is a choice that people make, often subconsciously, to help them get what they want in that moment. You can learn to choose differently by first becoming aware of the choice and then making a plan to do something more effective to get what you want in a way that doesn’t harm others and damage your relationships.

Doing What You Love and Loving What You Do

This workshop is for people who may have lost their passion for what they do, or have maybe never discovered their passion. Developed to boost morale during challenging economic times, this workshop helps people get in touch with the reasons they want to feel better about what they are doing right now, while developing a pathway to what they really want to be doing later. Disclaimer: You may lose some people after this workshop, but they will be the people who haven’t been engaged anyway.

Everyone Communicates, Few Connect

Participants will learn what could change in their lives if they develop as a better communicator. They will learn what effectiveness they could add to their lives, both personally and professionally, as a better communicator. By connecting better, you could make a greater impact in your relationships and in your career. The ability to connect with others is a major determining factor in reaching your full potential

Focus & Balance during Crisis

When you encounter crisises, it is often labeled a crisis because you don’t know how to handle it. There is no playbook—no protocols or tried and true methods. This presentation provides a playbook for how to manage your life through difficult situations.

Grief Perception & Balance

This presentation helps you look at grief from a different angle. Grief is not an inevitable part of life, but rather a behavior we engage in to help us deal with loss. Understand how grief helps. Learn to use perception to create a balance, so you are no longer held hostage by your grief.

Growth Mindset from Choice Theory Perspective

In this presentation, we talk about Carol Dweck’s concept of mindset and explain that concept within a CT framework. People can get better at pretty much anything they want to with a strong enough commitment and willingness to invest time in the area they want to improve

How to Balance Work, School & Life

Do you find that there is not enough time in the day? Do you feel like you are over-committed? This workshop, unfortunately, does not help you find more time in your day. We only get 24 hours in each day, but it does help you manage your priorities, so the most important things are done first.

Leading Through Crisis

This is a time for reflective discussion on defining a crisis and includes discussion about how to distinguish between good and bad leaders and battling distractions during a crisis. We discuss things like mind wandering, negative thinking, and uncertain anxiety. We will discuss staying in constant communication with your team, delegating responsibilities to other leaders, and how to make sure that you think about and make decisions that align with your values. Participants will learn, “What is the difference between uncertain and unclear?” and “What does clarity from leadership mean during times of crisis?”

Post Traumatic G.L.O.W

Are you a professional who works with people who have trauma in their background? Would you like to learn some new techniques and different ways of case conceptualization around trauma? This workshop helps you understand that post-traumatic stress is not a disorder but rather a phenomenal coping skill to deal with overwhelming trauma. One way through this is to help those affected by trauma to find the G.L.O.W. – the gifts, lessons, opportunities, and wisdom – that are inherently part of every trauma
